Sure, some services still exist for the Mobile Web (i.e., WAP) but in most cases it looks like people who spend any time on the web using their phone will do so from phones with real web browsers that access real web pages.
So moving forward, anyone who wants to have people find their site on mobile phone browsers should concentrate on doing the same SEO they do so that laptop and PC users will find the website.
