Can I connect wirelessly to both another computer and a wireless hotspot at same time?

I am traveling in a trailer at RV parks. I have 2 computers. each has 1 wireless connection. The RV park has a wireless internet hotspot. I can log on to the internet individually from each computer, but I cannot get the computers to network together at the same time. Is this possible? (1 computer is running Vista, the other XP). Can i do this if I put a second wireless card on one of the computers and use that as an access point? (one computer says it’s wireless can be used as an access points, but shows internet coming in via ethernet. Can i put another wireless card on it and access both networks at same time?)
