My computer is directly connected to the internet with an ethernet jack from a router (not wireless). My sister has a laptop and I’d like her to be able to use my computer’s current internet access as a hotspot to connect to the internet as well. I’m pretty clueless about this stuff and would like to know if a Wifi USB adapter connected to my computer would allow my computer to be a wireless hotspot. And please assume I cannot get a wireless router or just plug another direct line to my sister’s laptop.
